Eltham High School secured its spot in the second round of the 2024 ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup with a 2-1 victory over Hydel High at the Owen Palmer Oval. The school finished the first round with an impressive record of 8 wins and only 1 goal conceded.
Eltham will advance to Group 2 alongside Tivoli Gardens High, Excelsior High, and Jonathan Grant as Zone A winners.
Hydel High also progressed, finishing second in their group and joining Kingston College, STATHS, and Wolmer’s Boys in Group 3.
In other matches, Jonathan Grant triumphed over Waterford High with a 2-0 win, while Excelsior High dominated Bridgeport High with a convincing 5-0 scoreline.
