Charlemont High won their first senior football title Tuesday when they beat Petersfield High 3-1 in the final that continued at Juici Field yesterday after being called off on Friday due to a water-logged field.
Charlemont High led 2-0 on Friday when the game had to be postponed with goals from Darren Wildman and Howard Barker.
The St Catherine school added to the lead in the 67th minute when Wildman scored his second, thanks to a mix up between the Petersfield defence and goalkeeper, allowing the Charlemont High player to score in an empty goal.
Dejon Bartley pulled one back for Petersfield High when he scored from long distance in the 71st minutes.
