Defending champion Excelsior High secured yet another Schoolgirl Football title after hammering Holmwood Technical 9-1.
In what was a one-sided affair Excelsior High continued to show its dominance throughout the Schoolgirl Football competition as they secured yet another title in what was a repeat of the 2023 final.
Golden Boot winner and finals MVP Destiny Powell showed her class as she bagged four goals in the final taking her second-round goal tally to 12 goals.
Shauntai Pryce, Riquanna Richards, Andrenne Smith, Cassandra Smith, and Jada-Lee Bryan were the other scorers for Excelsior High.
Jamara Jones got the consolation goal for Holmwood Technical in what was a hard game for the Manchester-based institution. Amid all the doom and gloom, Jones stood tall as she was named the leading goal scorer having tallied 39 goals throughout the season.
The third-place playoff game saw Garvey Maceo defeat Edith Dalton James 4-1 to secure the third spot in this season’s competition.
Jully Ann Howard and Kieba Cowan both bagged a brace for Garvey Maceo, meanwhile, Captain Danishca Rattray scored the only goal for Edith Dalton James.
