The expected fireworks at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex between the home team and red hot BB Coke failed to materialise on Wednesday as their ISSA daCosta Cup Zone C first round game ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

It was the first time STETHS were failing to score against BB Coke as both teams stayed locked on points in Zone C both on four each and trailing Zone leaders Lacovia High who are on six points.

Two other ‘big name’ schools Manchester High and Dinthill Technical, the losing finalists in 2019, were also held scoreless by Holmwood Technical and Ocho Rios High respectively.

Munro College scored their first win of the season, beating Maggotty High 1-0, Foga Road were 3-1 winners over Kemps Hill, York Castle beat St Mary High 3-2 while Vere Tech and Central High shared points in a 1-1 draw.
