Garvey Maceo High and Frome Technical High continued to boss their respective zones in the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition after scoring shut out wins on Tuesday and extended their perfect starts.

Garvey Maceo sets the pace with four straight wins after beating Central High 3-0 in their Zone F game played in Gimmie-Me-Bit, Clarendon.

The win saw 'The Cubans' race to 12 points, the first school in the competition this year to win four games with Gregory Cousins and Cleo Clarke among the scorers.

Frome Technical rushed to the top of Zone B after a easy 4-0 beating of Green Island High at Wespow Park with Dujon Brown scoring twice to take his tally to three with Javel Clarke and Kemar Beckford scoring one each in the second half.

The 2003 winners are the sole leaders in Zone B after Petersfield High were held 0-0 by Green Pond and saw their two games winning run come to a halt.

Godfrey Stewart the 2005 winners, all but knocked many time champions Rusea's High out of contention, edging them 1-0 in a Zone B game.
