Twenty-one schools have booked their spots in the second round of the ISSA Dacosta Cup competition after Christiana High School punched their ticket after beating Holmwood Technical in their Zone G top of the group match on Friday.

The entire field of 32 qualifiers could be known on Saturday, October 15th as up to nine more schools can book their spots and the two best third-placed teams.

Christiana High’s win saw them improve to 15 points, the same as Holmwood Technical but with a superior goal difference and to the top of the points tables.

Holmwood Technical had qualified before the game that was played at Christiana High.

Daniel Roberts scored twice as Dinthill Technical beat second-placed McGrath High 4-0 to win all games in Zone K for the third time in the last six years.

Dinthill Technical was one of the first qualifiers for the second round and finished with 47 goals, the most by any school in the competition.
