Glenmuir High ended a 10-year title drought after winning their seventh ISSA Ben Francis Knock Out title on Saturday, December 3rd beating Edwin Allen High 2-0 in the final played at STETHS.

Glenmuir who won the treble in 2004, daCosta Cup, Ben Francis, and Olivier Shield, drew level with Cornwall College with seven Ben Francis KO titles, their first KO title in 13 years.

The Andrew Peart coached team completed the Ben Francis KO competition without conceding a single goal in four games while scoring 10 of their own.

Orane Watson gave Glenmuir High the lead in the first half when he converted from the penalty spot while David Reid added the second early in the second half.

Edwin Allen High who won their first major football title last season, had not conceded a goal in two previous games and were trying to become the fourth team to retain the title as both Glenmuir High and Cornwall College did twice, and STETHS who won six straight titles between 2010 and 2015.
