Neutral venues will be used when the 2020 ISSA schoolboys football season gets underway in October it was heard.

With the safety of the players and match officials taken into consideration, ISSA is looking at playing games at selected venues, most likely behind closed doors without spectators, and as such a number of teams will not be able to play at their own home grounds.

The venues have not been identified however but there could be double and triple headers at these venues as ISSA seeks to secure the health of all those who are involved.

The venues that will be used it was heard would have to satisfy a number of requirements such as being readily accessible in terms of sanitization and separation of teams as well as the carrying out of pre-game testing in conditions that are conducive.
