It will be another five weeks before schoolboys football teams can start training for the 2020 ISSA schoolboys football season ISSA has said.

On Tuesday, ISSA said they were looking at late October to kick off the schoolboys' football season and it was later heard that schools would not be given the green light to start training until August 10 that their own grounds.

The Under 16 competition will start earlier they had said in their release following a meeting with principals, the same time as basketball and netball.

The season is expected to be cut in half and will last about two months and should end just before the Christmas holidays for the first time.
