Camperdown High lost 4-3 in a controversial encounter against Mona High in Schoolboy Football action.

After having led 3-2 in the second half, the officials made a huge blunder by allowing the equalizing goal to stand although the ball was clearly out of play. Coach Donovan “butter” Lofters was red-carded after he approached the official about the decision which led to further delay of play, like a ship without a captain Camperdown sank to defeat as their coach watched from the stands.

Mona remains unbeaten on 21 points from 7 games in group E and secures a spot in the second round. Another result in the group saw Wolmer’s brush aside Papine High 5-1.

Other results around the Manning Cup saw Jamaica College defeat Cedar Grove 4-0, Hydel 2-1 Kingston High, and Jonathan Grant edged Spanish Town 1-0.
