Jonathan Grant High advances to the knockout stage of the Manning Cup after a 2-0 victory against Tarrant High. Leading scorer Donrick Richards was once again on the scoresheet as he lead from the front to fire his team into the top spot of Group D.

Another result from the group saw Dunoon Technical High shock Norman Manley 2-1. The battle for the top spot resumes on Friday as Jonathan Grant hosts Norman Manley and STATHS will welcome Tarrant High.

Jamaica College dispatched Cedar Grove 9-0 to remain atop Group B and 3 points clear of St. Catherine High who hammered St. Mary’s College 7-1, St. Jago High brushed aside Holy Trinity 4-0 to secure a best 3rd place spot in the knockout stage of the competition.
