The ISSA schoolboy football Manning Cup season has officially kicked into gear

as the groups have been drawn. This season's competition will host 37 teams split into six groups.

Group A will see defending champions Kingston College battle North Street rivals St. Georges College in the group of death. Calabar, Ardenne High, Eltham High, and Oberlin High make up the remainder of the group.

Group B will host last season's beaten finalist Jamaica College and Walker Cup champions St. Catherine High. Meadowbrook High, St. Marys’s College, Cedar Grove Academy, and St. Jago High complete the group respectively.

Charlie Smith High will be seen as Group C's favorite as they will do battle with Bridgeport, Tivoli High, Edith Dalton James High, Vauxhall, and Haile Selassie for group honors.

The ever-consistent STATHS should make light work of Group D as they will go against Norman Manley, Spanish Town, Dunoon Technical, Jonathan Grant, and Tarrant High.

Group E consists of seven teams which include the high-riding Mona High. Wolmers Boys will want to have a say in the proceedings when they go to war for group supremacy. Camperdown looks to bounce back after what was a miserable dismissal from last season's campaign. Hydel, Kingston High, Papine, and Waterford complete the group.

Beaten Walker Cup finalist Kingston Technical will look to build on last season's foundation as they seek to improve their Manning Cup rank. The make-up of group F continues with Excelsior High, Innswood High returns to the competition, Jose Marti Technical High, Campion College, and Clan Carthy High.
