The 2020-2021 Premier League is set to kick off on November 14th it was recently announced with all 12 teams that took part in the previous league that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic taking part.

The 2019-2020 season was postponed in March after the first few cases of the coronavirus were detected on the island and then called off in May when cases started to increase.

The organisers announced recently plans to start the 12 team competition but would play two rounds, instead of the usual three with the top six teams advancing to a play-off.

Additionally, no team would be relegated for the next three seasons as the organisers seek to increase the number of teams in the competition to 16, the number agreed to by FIFA.

Two teams will be added the next three seasons from a Super League play-off, the organisers also said.

Games are to be played at centralised, neutral venues but without spectators, at least at the start.

The teams that will take part are – Arnett Gardens, Humble Lion, Cavalier SC, Dunbeholden, Mount Pleasant FA, Harbour View, Portmore United, Molynes United, UWI FC, Tivoli Gardens, Waterhouse and Vere United.
