St. Jago High 2017 Schoolgirl Football Squad

St Jago High School hit the 100 goals mark with a commanding performance against Spanish Town High. It was a one sided affair as Sabrina Brooks, the competition's most prolific scorer, bagged five (5) goals in the 14-0 demolition, taking her overall tally to thirty-five (35) goals this season thus far.

St Jago has dominated the first round of the ISSA School Girl Football competition with their prolific goal scoring, stacking up 113 goals from just 10 games. This sees them easing into the second round.

Other results on the day, saw Edith Dalton James defeating McGrath High 3-1; St Elizabeth Technical being held to a 1-1 draw by Black River High; Montego Bay High defeated Merlene Ottey 4-2 closing the curtains on the first round.

Top two teams advanced to the second round, which has three groups. Group winners will advance to the semi-finals along with one best runner up. Second round action begins on Monday March 27, 2017.
