St Georges College made hard work of their opponents Bridgeport High in their group A clash at the Spanish Town Prison Oval.
The light blues labored to a 1-0 win in what was a far from impressive encounter. STGC began the game with their signature passing style of play as they played keep-ball from their opponents, however, they failed to penetrate their opponents and lacked real creativity. The goal came from an error by the bridge port custodian who collected the ball and stepped back into his net.
Other results from Group A saw defending champions Jamaica College register their first win of the campaign after brushing aside Charlie Smith 2-0.
Kingston Technical continued their good run of form as they defeated Kingston High 5-0.
