Jamaica’s national senior female relay teams won two and were narrowly beaten in a third race the USA vs The World Series at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Saturday.
The Jamaican women retained their 4x100m title, added the 4x400m and just missed winning a third win but were beaten to the line in the 4x200m by the USA, losing by one seven hundreds of a second. Meanwhile the men were not as lucky, getting two second places in the 4x100m and 4x200, losing both times to the USA and were third in the 4x400m.

Jamaican high school boys’ teams will have big boots to fill if they are to emulate their female counterparts on Saturday’s final day of the 121st Penn Relays Carnival at Franklin Field, Philadelphia.
Jamaican high school girls won three events on Saturday, Edwin Allen High girls won two events, the 4x100m and 4x400m while Holmwood Technical won the 4x800m.
