Bridgeport High returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over rivals Waterford High as ISSA/WATA Schoolgirl Football action resumes. The dynamic duo of Asya “Bibi” Miller and Aliandra “Power Puff” Dingwall were the scorers for Bridgeport High, now scoring in consecutive games as they hunt for second-round success.
Greater Portmore High hammered STATHS 14-0 to move up to fifteen points, three behind group leaders Denham Town. Holmwood Technical cruised past opponents DeCarteret College 4-0, who have now lost all five games this season so far, this season. The prolific Stacy-Ann Clair opened the scoring in the 29th minute for Holmwood, and eleven minutes later, she grabbed her second of the game to secure all three points. The other goalscorers were Shamaralee Shaw and Sutania Campbell.
Campion College bounced back from consecutive defeats to secure a 3-0 victory against Kingston Technical with goals from Ella McConnell, Leslie Keandra, and Gabrielle Lawrence. The reds have now scored 22 goals in six games and are currently sitting second place on the table in Group H.

The competition resumes on Tuesday, March 10th, with title hopefuls Garvey Maceo going up against Glenmuir High and Lennon High hosting Vere Technical High at the school ground. All games begin at 3 PM.
