New comers Mt St Joseph Catholic High were given a warm greeting as they were beaten 20-0 by BB Coke High in their opening ISSA daCosta Cup football game played at Manchester High in Mandeville on Saturday.

BB Coke the reigning Ben Francis KO champions scored 10 goals in each half of the game as Danjae Whitely and Maliek Change both scored four times in the game, Sanjae Allen got three goals while Dashan Bartley, Tahjay Larmond and Tyrell Ashman each got two goals with Nickoy Whitter, Darrel Keane and Devontae Blake all got one goal each.

It was the widest margin of victory in daCosta Cup for a number of years and the biggest win ever for BB Coke who leads Zone C on goal difference over former champions St Elizabeth Technical who beat Maggotty High 3-0 and Lacovia High who were 3-1 winners over Munro College.

Zamario Douglas, Rohane Brown and a Maggoty own goal accounted of the goals for STETHS.

Dinthill Technical, the beaten finalists in 2019, the last time the competition was played, were 4-0 winners over York Castle High in Zone G, Christiana High, Glenmuir High and Central High all scored six goals in their wins; Christiana drubbed Alston High 6-0 in their Zone D game, Glenmuir High beat Claude McKay 6-0 in Zone E and Central High beat Kemps Hill by the same margin in Zone F.

Lennon High were also 4- winners over Denbigh High in Zone E.
