Christiana High have won their first two games in the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition for the first time since the 2013 season after hammering Belair High 5-1 in their Zone D game played Wednesday.

They joined Petersfield High and Mannings School who also recorded back to back wins on Wednesday to stay locked on points in Zone B.

Petersfield High upset former champions Rusea’s High 3-1 at Wespow Park while Mannings also registered a similar scoreline against Green Island High.

In the other Zone B game played, Green Pond rebounded from their opening loss on Saturday with a 4-0 beating of Godfrey Stewart High.

DeCarteret College and Bellefield High played out a 2-2 draw in their Zone D game.
