Despite failing to score four goals in a game for the first time this season, William Knibb Memorial took their record in the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition to four straight wins after they edged an unfortunate St James High 1-0 in a Zone A game played at Irwin High on Wednesday.

Tusaine Burgess scored from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute to give the Trelawny school a close victory as they joined Garvey Maceo High with four straight victories.

There are still five schools yet to taste losses as Lennon High and defending champions Clarendon College in Zone E and St Thomas Technical in Zone G have yet to lose.

Lennon High beat Claude McKay 5-1 and Clarendon College ran past Denbigh High 3-0 while Edwin Allen scored their third straight win, beating Glenmuir High 2-0 in Zone E.

St Thomas Technical beat Happy Grove 2-0 and are on eight points at the top of Zone G, four more than Paul Bogle High who beat Port Antonio High 3-0 and are tied with the losers on points.
