Group A leaders Kingston Technical made light work of Bridgeport as they secured qualification to the second round of the 2021 ISSA / Digicel Manning Cup.
They brushed aside Bridgeport High 3-0 at the Spanish Town Prison Oval to sit atop Group A with 12 points heading into the last round of fixtures.
Second place Jamaica College are on 10 points, third place Charlie Smith on 9 and Calabar High on 7 points are the other team’s vying for the crucial second-place spot.
Group B action saw Excelsior High stake its claim for qualification as they hammered Jose Marti 6-0 to boost their goal difference and remain second in the group on 11 points. Other results in the group saw Tivoli stumble to a 1-0 defeat to Jonathan Grant and STATHS humbled Dunoon Technical 6-0.
The cellar dwellers of Group C battled it out as Clan Carthy defeated Papine 1-0 to secure their first points of the campaign.
