Triple header kicks off Schoolboy Football season.
The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association, Schoolboy Football 2022 season kicks off Saturday, September 10 at Sabina Park with a triple header.
The opening game will see defending DaCosta Cup champions, Garvey Maceo, battle Kemps Hill at 2:30 PM. Garvey Maceo, under the guidance of coach Merron Gordon, is seeking to savour the taste of victory as they enter the new season with hopes of defending their title.
Defending Manning Cup champions, Kingston College, will do battle against arch-rivals Calabar High at 5 PM in the hotly contested fixture of the first round in Zone A. St. George’s College will then go head-to-head with Ardenne High at 7 PM of Zone A, dubbed as the zone of death.
There will be several other games played across both competitions on opening day as the island’s number one football event takes centre stage.
