Irwin High missed a chance to join Cornwall College at the top of the points tables in Zone A of the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup after giving up a lead and were held to a 1-1 draw by St James High in their rescheduled game played at Jarrett Park on Monday.
Irwin High would have at least joined Cornwall College on 10 points but slipped up and are in second place on eight points but extended their unbeaten run first rounds game from last year to 14. The Norman Foster coached Irwin High took the lead in the 10 th minute when central defender Kenroy Morant headed home a cross.
St James High clawed their way back when Ramoy Brown who was a second half substitute, going on in the 46 th minute equalised in the 50th minute.
