St. George’s College we’re made to work for their 1-0 victory against a defiant Jose Marti Technical.
Captain Adrian Reid Jr. scored a stunner in the 25th minute from 26 yards out to secure the victory for St. George’s College. Jose Marti stood tall defending as they got a body between every shot and broke up every play from their fluent opponents but it was not enough to end the winning run of STGC.
Kingston College confirmed top-of-the-table status after a 5-1 victory against Penwood High. Demario Dailey bagged a hat trick for KC as they moved clear in Group A ahead of Hydel who defeated Charlie Smith 2-0. Calabar High drew 2-2 with Camperdown High in a goal fest at the Tony Spalding Sports Complex.
Other results on the day saw Waterford High edge Pembroke Hall 2-1 and Campion College narrowly defeated Ardenne High 2-1.
