Three more schools have won a fourth straight game in the ISSA/Wata football competition after extending their good starts with victories on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Happy Grove High, Port Antonio High and Holmwood Technical.

Happy Grove High continued to dominate Zone L with a 10th consecutive win since last season, beating Seaforth High 4-0; Port Antonio High surpassed last season’s win today with their fourth, beating Horace Clarke High 4-1 while Holmwood Technical beat Knox College 3-1.

All three joined pacesetters Glenmuir High who had won their fourth a day earlier.

Shevone Miller got a brace to lead Happy Grove in their win over the second placed team in the zone and improved their advantage after third place Yallahs High had their two game win streak cut, losing 2-1 to Morant Bay High.

Happy Grove High are on 12 points, five more than Seaforth High-seven points with Yallahs High in third place on six points.

Port Antonio High also improved to 12 points with their win as Titchfield High moved into second place on seven points after their 2-1 win over St Mary High.

Titchfield High who ended the game with 10 players had goals from Sanjay Marshall and Taffano Bryan, who scored a penalty in the 82nd minute while Narvar Logan had equalized for St Mary High in the eighth minute.

Bryan was later sent off in time added on in the second half.
