Four more school, former champions Cornwall College, Mannings School, Happy Grove High and Port Antonio High all made their places in the Round of 32 in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition safe on Saturday, October 5, 2024 after wins.

All four schools extended perfect win records as they joined another four schools that has booked their spots earlier- Christiana High, Belair High, Manchester High and Glenmuir High.

Cornwall College won their eighth straight game for the first time since the 2018 season, beating Irwin High 4-1 in their Zone A return round game played at Irwin and took zone honours, on 24 points.

Kayvon Donaldson scored his fourth goal in three games to open the scoring for Cornwall College, Nickane Brown scored in back to back games, Carlondo Morris added his eighth goal of the season and Dante Escoffrey added the fourth, all in the first half of the game.

Mannings School won their seventh game in a row, blanking Little London High 6-0 to win Zone C as Javin Williams and Kajaye Williams both scored braces, while Daintom Williams and Ricardo Ricketts got the other goals.

Happy Grove were also in ‘seventh heaven’ beating Morant Bay High in their Zone L play-offs to secure their Round of 32 spot while Port Antonio High were also 2-0 winners over St Mary Technical in their Zone M play-off game to secure their spot, also with a seventh straight win.
