The number of teams through to the Round of 32 in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition increased to 23 on Friday after William Knibb Memorial, Browns Town and St Mary High joined the ranks after wins in their respective zones.
William Knibb Memorial joined zone winners Spot Valley High from Zone D, Browns Town High took the second spot from Zone K while St Mary High are the third qualifiers from Zone M.
William Knibb edged Cedric Titus High 2-1 in Clarks Town with goals from Joshua Walker and Koran Henriques to finish second in Zone D with 25 points.
At Spot Valley, Chrisano Lawrence scored twice to lead the home team while Amado Russell and Stevan Mullings also scored as Spot Valley High who finished at the bottom of Zone A last season, were topping their zone for the first time since 2017, 25 points.
Browns Town High blanked Marcus Garvey Technical 6-0 to finish second in Zone K on 22 points and joined early qualifiers Ocho Rios High who were 4-1 winners over York Castle High and secured the top spot on 24 points.
St Mary High beat St Mary Technical 2-0 to take the third qualifying spot in Zone M behind Port Antonio High and Titchfield High with 15 points.
Port Antonio High meanwhile had their perfect start snapped after they were held 0-0 by Titchfield High at Carder Park.
