MUNRO, St Elizabeth — St Elizabeth Technical High (STETHS) and Munro College snapped their three-game winning streak in the ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup football competition on Saturday after playing out a 1-1 draw in their Zone E top-of-the-table meeting at Munro College.

After combining for 37 goals scored and none conceded in their six combined games, the two powerhouses could only manage a goal each, both in the first half and had to settle for a point each.

 Khesanio Hall gave STETHS the lead with his 10th goal of the season, while Levar Dunchey responded for the home team as they stayed atop the zone with 10 points each.

Two rescheduled games will be played today, Cedric Titus High will go in search of their third straight win when they play away to Ocho Rios in a Zone I game at Drax Hall, while Tacky High and Charlemont will meet in a Zone K game.

Also on Saturday, Grange Hill and Clarendon College maintained their prefect winning runs, while Frome Technical High and Christiana High had their perfect starts snapped.

Norman Malcolm and Tedroy Daley scored for Grange Hill as they handed Black River their first loss after three draws with a 2-0 victory in Black River to stay atop Zone D with nine points, five points more than Mannings School, who swamped Knockalva Technical 7-0 with Melvin Blair and Romario Pessoa both scoring two goals.

Clarendon College made it four straight wins in Zone H, edging Lennon High 1-0 to open up a massive eight-point advantage over the loser, and Thompson Town, who had their first win over Edwin Allen, winning 2-1.

It was a stalemate at the Colin Miller Sports Complex in Lucea, as former champions Rusea's High and Frome Technical ended goalless in a mostly drab affair.

Frome, who lead Zone B with 10 points, had the better of the game but failed to make use on a soggy field.

Green Island High moved into third place on four points, one behind Rusea's after a 5-1 victory over Cambridge High at Green Island.

In Zone G, Christiana came back from two goals down with 10 players to earn a 2-2 draw with Spalding High at home, as Oshane Mullings scored his third goal of the season, and Ian Dyer got the other.

Herbert Morrison Technical moved to the top of Zone C after edging Holland High 1-0, while Spot Valley and William Knibb drew 1-1.

Cornwall College drew level with Zone A leaders St James High on nine points after beating Anchovy High 2-0, though they have played one game more.

Green Pond scored their first win, 4-2, over winless Maldon High.

After being held to a draw in their opening game, Manchester High have scored three straight wins after beating DeCarteret College 5-0 to lead Zone F with 10 points.

Bellefield moved two places into second place with their 4-0 win over Cross Keys.

Brimmervale High and St Mary Technical are tied on eight points at the top of Zone J after wins over Islington High and Oracabessa, respectively, on Saturday.

Brimmervale matched their previous goals tally from three games with a 5-0 win, while St Mary Tech were 3-0 winners, also matching their previous total.

St Mary High moved to within a point of the leaders with a 3-0 win over last-placed Iona High.

Dinthill Technical beat Ewarton High 1-0 to draw level with them on seven points at the top of Zone K, while Bog Walk had their first win of the year, 1-0 over Charlemont High.

Bustamante High took full advantage of two own goals from Denbigh High to score their first ever win over them, a big 4-1 margin to move into second place in Zone M on three points, one behind defending champions Glenmuir High, with Garvey Maceo next on two points.

Former champions Vere Technical are the leaders in Zone N after a 3-0 win over Old Harbour High, the most goals they have scored in a game since beating Bustamante High in 2011.

They are on seven points from three games, leading Kemps Hill, who have played two games, and Central High.

Morant Bay High assumed the lead in Zone O with eight points after their 5-3 shoot-out win over St Thomas Technical; one point more than Paul Bogle High who beat Seaforth 3-1.
