BB Coke High School pulled off one of their most memorable victories in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup competition on Saturday with a stunning come from behind 4-2 win over decade long unbeaten streak in Zone F.
Manchester High led 2-0 after 20 minutes into the game and looked set to repeat their 5-0 first round score line before BB Coke started their response and drew level at 2-2 before the end of the first half and carried their momentum into the second half scoring two more for their first win over Manchester High.
Jason Dyer scored a goal to take his tally to 11 goals while Christopher Nelson, Shemore Ford and Danyae Whitely also scored as BB Coke closed the gap on Manchester High to one point.
The Vassell Reynolds coached team are still leading with 19 points but BB Coke are just one behind, both from eight games played as the race heats up for the second round spots.
It was the first loss for Manchester High on the field in the first round since 2009 when they were upset by Bellefield High, as they had two wins overturned in the board room in 2014, a run over over 100 games.
Manchester High had rebounded from that loss in 2009 to spank Bellefield 9-0 in the return round on their way to the final.
