Christiana High are though to the second round of the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup football competition for the fourth straight season after beating Bellefield High 3-0 in their Zone G play-off game on Friday, October 4th, 2024 at Christiana High.

Christiana High who had topped the zone last season were beating Bellefield High for the second time in a week after they had beaten them 7-0 a week ago in their regular season game, improved to 22 points and claimed one of the three qualifying spots from the group.

Nickoye Henry, Danray Cameron and Amani Hibbert scored for Christiana High as they join Belair High, Manchester High and Glenmuir High as the schools that have already secured their second round spots.

Second placed Holmwood Technical will have to wait to book their place after they were held 0-0 by Alphansus Davis High in their play-off game.

Also on Friday, Browns Town High opened a four points lead in Zone K after beating York Castle High 4-0 at Addison Park, improving to 19 points, ahead of Ocho Rios High who have a game in hand.

At Drax Hall, Marcus Garvey Tech failed to close the gap on the leaders after they led 3-1 but had to settle for a 3-3 draw with Aabuthnott Gallimore High.
