As expected defending champions Clarendon College are the fourth team to qualify for the semi-finals of the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition after beating McGrath High 3-1 in their rescheduled Group 4 game at Dinthill Technical on Tuesday.

After the game was rescheduled from Saturday due to illnesses in the Clarendon camp, goals from Christopher Hull, Rushi Parchment and Keheim Dixon piloted Clarendon College into the top four as they joined two other former champions Dinthill Technical and Garvey Maceo High as well as Manning’s School in the semi-finals.

Clarendon College led 2-0 at half time thanks to goals from Hull in the 15 th minute and Rushi Parchment in time added at the end of the first half.

Halrick Taffe pulled one back for McGrath in the 61th minute, but Keheim Dixon restored Clarendon’s two goals lead when he scored in the 77 th minute.

Clarendon College will face Garvey Maceo in one semi-final on January 12 th while Mannings School and Dinthill Technical will meet in the other.
