Defending champions Clarendon College were made to work for their narrow victory against Denbigh High. Justin Hayles put the team from Chapleton ahead early as they were expecting business as usual, things looked even more impressive as Terron Williams extended their lead, and cruise control was the order of the day leading up to the half-time interval.

In a game of two halves Denbigh High took Clarendon College by surprise as they started with a high tempo and took early control of the contest. Super sub-Rahjaun Cassanova made an immediate impact as he took residence on the left wing and began to pressure CC. The pressure finally paid off as he was taken down inside the penalty area and referee Parchment pointed to the penalty spot.

Cassanova converted from the spot but it was only to be a consolation as Clarendon College stood firm to hang on for a victory.
