Zone C of the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition looks to be going donw to the wire after Maggotty High handed Ben Francis KO holders BB Coke’s their first loss of the season while there were wins for former champions STETHS and Munro College.

Munro College are the leaders with 9 points after their 4-1 win over Mt St Joseph at Kirkvine while BB Coke and STETHS are tied on seven, one point ahead of Lacovia and Maggotty High.

Maggotty High edged BB Coke 1-0 in their game at STETHS before STETHS rebounded from their loss to Munro to beat Lacovia High 2-1.

Lennon High and Clarendon College are tied on 10 points in Zone E after wins on Wednesday; Lennon beat Claude McKay 5-1, Clarendon College were 3-0 winners over Denbigh and Edwin Allen beat Glenmuir 2-0 as the former winners have lost their last two after starting the season with two wins.

In Zone A Herbert Morrison Technical rebounded from their loss to William Knibb last week with a 5-1 win over Spot Valley High while Cornwall College moved a place up to third with a 2-0 win over Holland High and Irwin High scored their second win, blanking Maldon High 3-0.
