The ISSA/Manning Cup Schoolboy Football competition gave us a spectacular Saturday, September 14, 2024 as fifty two goals were scored in six games.

Kingston College were the main protagonists as they hammered Cumberland High 18-0 at the Stadium East Football Field. DeShawn Byfield and Kajay Fletcher both bagged 4 goals apiece as they were the main hit-men for KC. The pair Demario Daley and Kamaul Patterson also were among the goals both bagging a hat-trick.

Jamaica College put Ascot High to the sword as they comfortably dispatched their opponents 11-0 to ensure they were clear group leaders and showing the true blue monster mentality.

Papine High was left in a daze as St. George’s College ran riot in a 10-0 trashing. STGC takes sole leadership of Zone G ahead of St. Catherine High opened their season with a 4-0 victory against Holy Trinity after being awarded the points for their first fixture versus Norman Manley.

Excelsior High defeated Bridgeport High 7-1 as they prepared for their encounter against Jamaica College.

St. Andrew Technical High School held firm and showed resilience as they defeated Calabar High 1-0 at The Boys Town football field.
