Stevaughn Spence scored a hat-trick to lead Frome Technical to a resounding 4-0 win over Happy Grove High in their ISSA Ben Francis Cup semi-final while McGrath High stunned six time champions STETHS 2-1 in the other semi-final game, both played on Wednesday.
Frome Technical will return to the final for the first time since winning the competition in 2006 while it will be the first time McGrath High will appear in a final at this level.
They will square off on December 9th at the national stadium.
After a bright start by Happy Grove High in their game played at Glenmuir High, Frome Technical took over and were 2-0 up after 14 minutes with goals from Uriel Lemphard in the 11th minute and Spence in the 14th minute.
Spence scored his second and his team’s third in the 60th minute before completing his hattrick in the 73rd minute.
Deandre Anderson gave McGrath High the lead in the 29th minute in their game but STETHS levelled the scores in the 44th minute when Abena Wallace scored.Devon Davis scored the winner in the 80th minute however.
