Two time champions Garvey Maceo High are through to the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup Round of 32 after clipping Kemps Hill High 1-0 in their Zone I play-off game played at Kemps Hill on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Garvey Maceo who were beating Kemps Hill for the second time this season improved the 18 points and joined Zone leaders Glenmuir High as the first two qualifiers for the next round.

They were the ninth school to ensure their place in the next round joining-Cornwall College from Zone A, Mannings School from Zone C, Belair High and Manchester High from Zone F, Christiana High from Zone G, Happy Grove High from Zone L and Port Antonio High from Zone M.

Denbigh High took over the third place in the Zone H play-offs after after beating Thompson Town 4-1 in their rescheduled game.

Denbigh High completed their first round with 12 points, two more than Lennon High, but behind leaders Clarendon College and Central High.

Frome Technical saw their perfect run come to an end after they played out a 0-0 draw against Rusea’s High in their rescheduled first leg Zone B game at Frome.

Frome Technical had won their previous six games and remained at the top of the points tables with 19 points two more than Rusea’s High who they will meet again on Wednesday in Lucea.

Black River High edged close to a place in the Round of 32 after beating Little London 6-0 in their Zone C game played at Little London.

Black River are on 12 points, in second place behind leaders Mannings School and ahead of Grange Hill and Little London.

Belair High meanwhile stayed ahead of Manchester High of goal-difference in Zone F after both scored big wins.

Belair High were 4-1 winners over deCarteret College while Manchester High trounced Mt St Joseph College 8-0.
