Garvey Maceo High are the first qualifiers for the quarter-final round of the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition after scoring their fifth straight win, beating Foga Road High 3-1 in their Zone F game played at Foga Road in Clarendon on Friday.

Garvey Maceo who lead the four qualifiers for the play-off in Zone F with 15 points cannot finish lower than second place as Gregory Cousins, Cleo Clarke and Olando Blake scored.

Vere Technical are in second place on 10 points after they beat Kemps Hill 3-0 as Old Harbour High beat Central High 3-1 to be in third place on 7 points with Foga Road in fourth with 6 points.

Denzil Lee scored his first hat-trick and three players Shaquille Campbell, Ron Webb and Javaine Simpson scored braces as Manchester High swamped Alston High 12-0 in their Zone D game with Manchester High joined Christiana High on 10 points, but lead on goal-difference while Bellefield High are in third place on eight points after beating Belair High 1-0.

At Drax Hall Browns Town scored their first win of the season with a big 7-0 thrashing of St Mary High in Zone H with Tyreek McCalla and Tajay Whittaker both scoring hat tricks.
