Jerome Whynn scored a first round double as Green Pond avenged their first round 5-2 loss as Carlondo Morris scored Cornwall College’s goal as their eight games winning start came to an end.
Green Pond are on 18 points, the same as Maldon High who were also 2-1 winners over Herbert Morrison, setting up a winner take all game between Maldon and Green Pond on Saturday.
William Knibb Memorial and Cedric Titus remained in contention in Zone D after both scored big wins over Muschett High and Discovery Bay High respectively.
William Knibb were 6-0 winners over Muschett High in Martha Brae and improved to 22 points, one behind qualifiers Spot Valley High and Cedric Titus are on 19 points after their 5-0 win over Discovery Bay High.
