The ISSA Champions Cup first round will be the first game to be played when the season resumes on January 5th and defending champions Kingston College will start their defence with a game against Mannings School.
The draw was made on Wednesday (December 29, 2021) when it was also heard that the government had denied a request for more fans to be allowed to see the games live.
ISSA like the Jamaica Football Federation had requested additional fans to see games but with the threat of a fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic looming, the request was denied.
In the other first-round games in the ISSA Champions Cup, former champions Jamaica College will meet Garvey Maceo, Clarendon College, the beaten finalists in 2019, takes on Charlie Smith High while Dinthill Technical and St Andrew Technical will also meet.
The winners will advance to the second round set for Saturday, January 8th and the final will be played on January 15th the organizers had said.
The first-round games will be played at the Stadium-East and St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex while the semi-finals and final are set to be played at the Stadium East or the National Stadium.
The semi-finals of the Manning Cup will be played on January 11th one day before the daCosta Cup semi-finals.
