GOALS FROM Raffic Bryan, Malique Foster, Stefan Logan paced many-time champions Jamaica College to a 3-1 win over Bridgeport High in their Manning Cup match at Hope road today.
In a game which was dominated by Jamaica College (JC) for the most part. Bridgeport wasn’t ruled out has they showed their impressively skills. However the day belonged to National under 17 captain Junior Flemmings of the Hope road based-school Jamaica College, who made several Counter attacks on the Bridgeport custodian.
After Raffic Bryan and Malique Foster scored for JC, Bridgeport turned on the pressure after they created several serious assaults on the Miguel Coley-coached JC team. Nevertheless the goalkeeper again came in with some brilliant saves.
Flemmings displayed tremendous skill as he single-handedly opened up Bridgeport’s defense to assist Substitute Stefan Logan in the 71st minute to score JC’s 3rd.
Bridgeport consolation goal came in the 63rd minute when Javon Swire scored a stunner.
“We can go all the way but definitely have some work to do, said JC coach Miguel Coley
Jamaica College now leads the group on 15 points.
