Dyllan John scored a brace as he spared Jamaica College blushes against Excelsior High.
The Eagles of Mountain View came to play as they took the game to the host’s Jamaica College. However, JC took the lead through Dyllan John in the 50th minute after an error from goalkeeper Jamari Gordon. Excelsior wasted no time in their pursuit of an equalizer which came three minutes later through Kimarly Scott. And just when you thought the game would settle down Excelsior High did the unthinkable and grabbed a well-deserved lead through Damarley Williams in the 58th minute.
As the game continued at a frantic pace JC relentlessly hunted for their equalizer and was finally rewarded in the 88th minute when John converted from the penalty spot and earned his team a valuable point. The game ended 2-2 and one can truly say it was a deserved result for both.

Ascot High clipped Pembroke Hall 1-0 to move into second place in Zone F as they seek to keep pace with Zone leaders Jamaica College. Oshawny Facey was the lone scorer, he hit the net in the 62nd minute.

Wolmer’s Boys went on a riot as they defeated St. Mary’s College 8-0 to tighten their grip atop Zone E. Another result from the Zone saw Tivoli Garden High narrowly defeat St. Jago High 1-0.

Edith Dalton James High is still searching for their first win of the season if they went down 1-0 to Denhan Town High.
