Many time champions Kingston College are through to the finals of the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup competition after beating Hydel High 2-0 in the semi-finals played at the national stadium on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
A goal in either half from the Guyanese Matrim Martin carried Kingston College past Hydel High, avenging last year’s loss in the semi-finals.
Kingston College will now face first time finalists St Catherine High in Friday’s final decider.
Hydel High was dealt a massive blow when play maker Ronaldo Barrett was forced off the field due to injury.
Martin gave Kingston College the lead in the 16th minute and the killed off the game in time added with a second goal, both coming from fast breaks.
