Some of the top schools in the upcoming ISSA schoolboys’ football season will get their chance to test their readiness at the first Kings of Kings one day football rally to be held at the Barbican play field on August 20 th just over two weeks before the start of the Manning and daCosta Cup competitions.
Six teams including three former Manning Cup and two former daCosta Cup champions will take part in the one day event sponsored by Di Foto Shoppe.
Defending daCosta Cup champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) will lead the charge in what is expected to be a day full of exciting football and a day for the family.
The Manning Cup schools are Kingston College, Excelsior High and Bridgeport High all former winners of the Urban Area title while the in addition to STETHS, there will be 11 times daCosta cup winners Cornwall College and Manchester High.
They will play each other one in groups of three before the top two advance to the semi-finals and the winners will contest the final set for 6:05pm.
Games will be 50 minutes duration, 25 minutes each half with unlimited substitutions allowed.
The groups are-Group A: Manchester High, KC, Bridgeport High and Group B: Steths, Cornwall College, XLCR.

XLCR vs Steths 10:35
Cornwall vs XLCR 12:45
Steths vs Cornwall 2:50pm
Final:
Zone Winners will play the final game and the winner crowned King of Kings.
