Kingston High registered their first win of the ISSA Digicel Manning Cup 2021 season after a 1-0 win against group favorites Calabar High School.

The game was dominated by Calabar High who had 85% possession of the football but failed to make it count. Captain Wisdom of Kingston High scored arguably the best goal of his career as he beat the Calabar custodian from almost inside his half in the 91st minute to steal all three points.
This result gained Kingston High their first points of the season and move them within 3 points of second-place Charlie Smith who also lost 1-0 to Bridgeport High at the Spanish Town Prison Oval. Another result of the group saw group leader Kingston Technical ease past St. George’s College 3-1 and move three points clear at the top.

Manning Cup action continues with Group B action as St. Jago High host Dunoon and Jonathan Grant take on Excelsior High at Prison Oval. Tivoli High will go up against Camperdown and STATHS vs Jose Marti at the Asheneim Stadium.
