The Mannings School secured the Rural U14 schoolboy football title after a 2-0 victory against Glenmuir High.Mannings secured their spot in the final after defeating Maldon High on penalties after a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Glenmuir High defeated Vere Technical on penalties in a closely contested fixture to advance to the final.
In what was a rainy encounter at the STETHS complex, the Westmoreland based Mannings didn’t let the weather conditions deter them from playing their attractive brand of football. Dainton Williams and Kajaye Williams were the goal scorers for Mannings who are now Rural U14 champions 2022.
