Defending champions Harbour View FC and Montego Bay United (MBU) will go into the four weeks of the World Cup break as joint leaders of the Jamaica Premier League after the fourth round of games this past weekend, November 20-21.
Harbour View and MBU scored wins while promoted teams Chapleton Maroons got their first goal and first win and Faulkland FC got their first point.
Harbour View who edged Humble Lion 1-0 on Sunday, lead MBU on goal difference, both on 10 points, one point ahead of Cavalier FC, the most prolific scoring team in the league so far with nine goals.
Arnett Gardens, beaten in Montego Bay, are in fourth place on seven points, followed by Molynes United on six points, while Tivoli Gardens and Mt Pleasant FA are tied on five points.
A first-half goal from Nicholas Hamilton gave Harbour View a 1-0 win over Humble Lion on Sunday, as they rebounded from their draw in midweek against Mt Pleasant.
MBU came from a goal down to beat Arnett Gardens 2-1, their third straight victory since coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Portmore in their opening game.
Ajuma Johnson gave Arnett Gardens the lead in the 51st minute but the home team stormed back with two late goals, both from set plays with Donovan Brown drawing the home team level in the 73 rd minute and Nevaun Turner giving them to win with a goal four minutes into time added.
Cavalier also won their third straight with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Dunbeholden after losing their opening game to Arnett Gardens.

On Sunday, fellow promoted team Faulkland FC came back from a goal down twice to earn a 2-2 draw against Tivoli Gardens.
Three goals were scored in a two minutes span in the first half of the game at Wespow Park as Justin Dunn gave Tivoli Gardens the lead in the 35th minute, Enrique Gordon responded in the 36 th minute to level for Faulkland FC but Diego McKenzie restored Tivoli’s lead in the 37th minute.
Faulkland FC had one more rally to make, a minute into time added when second-half substitute Shannoy Anderson scored from about two yards out at the far right post.
In other games, Molynes United edged Vere United in a game that saw multiple expulsions while Portmore United played to their fourth straight draw, ending 0-0 against Mt Pleasant FA.
