FORMER champions Clarendon College outscored Edwin Allen High, 3-2, in their ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup rescheduled Zone H game in Frankfield, Clarendon yesterday.
With their third win, each by a one-goal margin, Clarendon took the lead in the zone going into the return round that gets underway tomorrow.
Clarendon ended the first round with 10 points -- two more than Lennon High, who have eight, with Edwin Allen in third place on five points.
Meanwhile, one return-round game will be played this afternoon when Tacky High host Ewarton in a Zone K encounter.
Ewarton won the first-round game, 3-1, but are in fourth place in the Zone on seven points, two behind Tacky as Dinthill Technical lead with 11 points with Bog Walk in second place on 10 points.
