Mona High salvaged their season after coming from a goal down to beat Excelsior High 4-1 to win their first ISSA/Digicel Walker Cup title on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the National Stadium.

Mona High was knocked out in the quarter-finals after winning their first Manning Cup title last year but rallied to win a second title in two years. KShaine Gordon scored a second-half double to lead them.

Damarly Williams gave Excelsior High the lead in the 12th minute, and they looked set to take the game away from Mona High as they created several good chances.

Carlton Brown, however, equalized for Mona High in the 34th minute, and the teams went to the half-time break level at 1-1.

It was all Mona High in the second half. Gordon gave them the lead in the 52nd minute, Marlon Cunningham made it 3-1 in the 55th minute, and Gordon put the game out of reach of Excelsior High in the 76th minute.
