Former champions Rusea’s High avenged their loss to Anchovy High with a big 5-1 win over Anchovy High in their ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup Zone B game played in Lucea on Monday, September 30th, 2024.

Anchovy High had scored a big 1-0 up set win over the many time champions and had won their first four games before Monday’s loss.

Despite the loss, Anchovy High and Frome Technical still leads with 12 points, three more than Rusea’s who got goals from Roshawn Dillion, Damar Sailsman, Rushaun Burt, Maliek Headed and Kemarley Weekley while Trewann Montague scored Anchovy’s consolation which made the scores 1-1 at the time.

Glenmuir High extended their winning run to six games after beating Vere Tech 7-0 with Orane Watson leading the way with a hat trick, Ricardo Binns scored a double while Devonnie Gordon and Orel Miller both scored one goal each.

Green Pond High and Irwin High wasted a chance to closer the gap in Zone A after playing out a 1-1 draw.

Munro College were held 1-1 by Lacovia High in Zone E while St Elizabeth Technical beat Maggotty High 4-1, their biggest win of the season.

Manchester High closed the gap on Zone F leaders Belair High after blanking May Day High 3-0 and Browns Town High were 3-1 winners over Aabuthnott Gallimore in Zone K.

Little London beat Godfrey Stewart to move into a three way tie for second in Zone C, all on six points.
