Spot Valley High took over the lead in Zone D after beating William Knibb Memorial 1-0 in their top of the zone clash in Martha Brae and extended their winning start to five games on the trot.

Malike Stewart’s 50th minute free kick from almost midfield beat goalkeeper Marques Forrester as they beat William Knibb for the first time since 2019 and snapped their perfect start this season, at four wins.

Cornwall College, Mannings School and Belair High also extended their perfect starts.

Carlando Morris scored his first daCosta Cup hat trick to lead Cornwall College to a 5-1 hammering of Green Pond High, their fourth straight win as Nikane Brown got his first goal and Dante Escoffrey got his second.

Cornwall College are awaiting a ruling from ISSA and could lead Zone A by six points if they are awarded the game against Maldon High that was called off with minutes left to be played when an official was hit with a stone.

Mannings School also won their fourth straight game, beating Grange Hill High 5-0 in Sav la Mar, Jarvis Meylor scored a double while Jodon Grey, Kajaye Williams and Rajon McKenzie all scored one goal each.

Belair High improved their advantage at the top of Zone F to six points after edging May Day High 1-0.

There were first wins for Irwin High who beat Herbert Morrison 3-1; Cambridge High who were 3-0 winners over Green Island High; Muschett High who beat Holland High 4-2; Mile Gully who beat Alston High 1-0; Aabuthnott Gallimore who beat York Castle 1-0 and Charlemont High who beat Tacius Golding High 1-0.
